Chapleau The beautiful town of Chapleau is located in the Sudbury District in the Northeastern portion of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Somewhat isolated, the nearest cities are Timmins, Sudbury, and Sault St. Marie, all of which are more than a two hour drive from Chapleau.   With a relatively small population of around two thousand five hundred people, Chapleau is perhaps best known for being the home of the largest wildlife preserve in the World. Many locals and visitors refer to Chapleau as the Gateway to the Largest Crown Game Preserve in the World.

Wawa Located in Northern Ontario, in the Michipicoten township, Wawa is a fascinating town which many nature lovers flock to in order to capture its majestic beauty with their own eyes. Wawa is especially known for its great fishing adventures in the surrounding lakes and rivers which make Wawa so picturesque. In addition to the excellent, year round fishing, tourists can visit a slew of places in and around Wawa. Biscotasing Take highway 144 north past Cartier. Turn left on to the Sultan Industrial Road at the Watershed restaurant. Drive west for 30.4 kms. When the road splits, turn left and continue for 9.4 km. Turn left and continue for 29.5 km to the village of Biscotasing   There are great Hunting and Fishing lodges on Biscotasi Lake. Grey Owl Camps has cottages around the lake that you can rent and boat into.

When visiting the Kawarthas and the Peterborough area the hardest choices you'll have to make are what lakes to fish and which species to target.
Sioux Lookout Visiting Sioux Lookout is one of the best places to go to for a serene day out on the waters as it has not been commercialized for fishers. It is a quaint and friendly town that is more secluded and has not yet fully developed its tourism possibilities.
Lac Seul Lac Seul (French for "Lake of Alone") is a huge body of water, the second largest lake wholly situated in Ontario that has the distinction of being an outstanding fishery for a multitude of species. The lake itself has four distinct and major sections, and is primarily fed by three massive rivers - namely the English from the south, Vermilion from the east and the Root from the north. All in all it spells an impressive amount of water for an abundance of exciting activities. How about wrestling with northern pike that tip the scales at 32 pounds? Perhaps heavyweight walleye or record-size musky are more your style? Whatever your preferred target is, this unequalled fishery continues to cough up record numbers and sizes year after year.

Gogama Accessible by railway, automobile, and float plane, Gogama is considered part of the community of Sudbury. Getting its name from the Ojibway word for jumping fish, Gogama has a rich heritage of fishing, particularly on Lake Miniskawa.
Muskoka Muskoka Ontario is an area less than two hours north of Toronto that has over 1600 lakes, famous granite cliffs, and spectacular waterfalls. With dense forests of pine and maple trees, the fall leafage is spectacular, and a draw for visitors and naturalists from around the world.
Bay of Quinte The Bay is well known as a world-class walleye fishery and serves as a spawning area for a lot of Lake Ontario's walleye population. Many of these large fish spend the summer months in the main lake, returning to the bay in the fall.
Georgian Bay Georgian Bay fishing is world-class fishing and is Ontario's best-kept secret. Whether you like to fish from a fully-rigged bass boat for bass, pike, monster Georgian Bay muskellunge or walleye or drop the downriggers and head for lake trout, rainbow trout or Georgian Bay salmon.
Rideau Lakes Besides being one of the most picturesque spots for fishing in the Ontario area, Rideau Lakes is open year round for fishers. Many fishers love Rideau Lakes during the months May through August for its ideal temperatures yet many fishers come to the area according to when their favorite species is in season.
