PDS-3500
This is the Cadillac of the Vector “PDS” series. 3 rod holders,
swivel base and 190 fpm retrieve rate. This rigger leaves no room
for improvements. The Vector line of downriggers is built tough and
has a warranty to back it, lifetime! The choice of charter captains

enjoying a lazy summers afternoon or in the heat of a top dollar

All Vector products are machined from solid aluminum and
stainless steel, then polished and plated for added corrosion
resistance with durable CompCote®. The plating gives our riggers
almost 4 times the corrosion resistance of standard anodize
finishes.
The entire downrigger is then factory assembled eliminating the
hours of frustrating labor normally associated with the purchase of
new downriggers. Simply install the boom and supplied cable
termination kit, attach it to your boat or gimbal mount and your
fishing!
With the addition of the “Spring-Loc” option the two front
rod holders become “no tools” adjustable. By adding the
“Flip-Loc” option the two front rod holders locking positions
can be disengaged to allow easy removal of the rod in the event of a
release. Simply grab the rod and pull back, the rod holder will
offer no resistance allowing quick, easy rod retrieval which in turn
will put more fish in the boat!
The PDS-3500 comes with all these features:
- Powerful 7 amp (no load rating) motor, made in the USA
- 190 fpm descent and retrieve rate
- Ball bearing swivel base with16 locking positions
- Liquid smooth clutch eliminates need for auto shutoff
- Solid ¾” dia, booms are available in lengths from 1 to 5 foot
- Boom locks in the “up” position
- 2 fully adjustable rod holders with 8 different locking
angular positions and 24 locking rotational angles
- Center (third) rod holder has 8 different locking angular
positions
- 8 different rod tube angles are “no tools” adjustable
- No Plastic parts to break, complete unit is machined aluminum
and stainless steel
- All aluminum parts receive a durable CompCote® finish for
years of worry free use

If a backing plate is needed consider purchasing a second mounting
plate. Works perfectly as a backing plate when installed upside
down!
